Hanoi Jane Endorses Obama

Hanoi Jane Fonda told a group of reporters outside of a restaurant Thursday that she was supporting Barack Obama for President. As for the traitor Fonda and all other celebrity endorsers, the device capable of measuring my indifference for their political opinions has yet to be invented! As Americans celebs have the right to voice their opinion like the rest of us. When on the basis of that celebrity they feel that their opinion matters more it is sickening. Oh let us see, your last role was a blockbuster and you were nominated for an Academy Award. I guess that means you are qualified to educate the unwashed masses on the important issues of our time; NOT! If you are making political decisions based on what Sean Penn thinks; shame on you. The only thing worse than Fonda's endorsement for your campaign, would be getting the nod from Hitler. My father served in Vietnam and if you even mention her name to him you had better be prepared for a tirade. It is one thing to vehemently oppose a war. It is even a very American thing to do (the whole free speech thing). It is quite another issue to visit an enemy nation in a time of war and pose for pictures on top of a weapon used to destroy your own countries aircraft! That is an act of treason, plain and simple. While most of my own political beliefs are in opposition to Senator Obama's, I began this primary process with a very high opinion of the man. After events like the Rev. Wright debacle, I am not certain how to feel. I hope Senator Obama does the right thing and rejects the endorsement of a traitor.
