File this story in the WTF is wrong with the World file. An Austrian man imprisoned his daughter for 24 years in his basement and fathered seven children with her. I never cease to be amazed by the evil that people are capable of. He kept his daughter now 42, in the basement for nearly a quarter of a century without seeing sunlight. DNA tests confirmed that This man was the father of all six surviving children. One child had previously died in the basement. The child's remains were found burnt in the furnace, and Police are investigating the death. The victim says her father lured her into the cellar in 1984 and drugged and handcuffed her before imprisoning her. The most bizarre twist is that Police Officials say that the man's wife had no idea that her daughter was imprisoned for 24 years in the basement below. I just can't get my head around that fact.
